It's hard for me to believe that this game took place more than twenty years ago, but the 1990 Big Game simply has to be the best in the history of the rivalry. (Last year I wrote about my experience at that game; take a read if you have the time.) If you were to ask a Cal grad, of course, you'd get a different -- and obvious -- answer, but that's part of what made this game so great. The Travesty of 1982 had only happened eight years earlier and was still a tangible part of Big Game's recent history. With that defeat as subtext, the improbable victory in the 1990 game was even sweeter.
The good folks at Stanford Football have just released a video recap of the 1990 game, and it's a must-watch. Enjoy.

What does yesterday mean?
