If you've been following Stanford football for long enough, Drew Dalman's name should sound familiar. Drew's father, Chris Dalman, played tackle for the Cardinal in the early 90s before going on to a six-year NFL career and winning a Super Bowl ring with the San Francisco 49ers. The younger Dalman played guard for his high school team, but he projects as a center at the collegiate level and should develop nicely in the Stanford system.
Believe it or not, Dalman's a bit light at 265. He'll certainly redshirt this fall to gain weight and learn the playbook, then he'll look to compete for the starting center job in 2019.
