How do you know when your program has made the big time? It's simple really. The ESPN tour bus arrives on campus and buttonholes your quarterback for a series of interviews to be shown on several different platforms. Let's take a quick second and breathe that in. The season begins in 129 days, and Stanford Football is making news.
Luck spent a while in the bus's on-board studio, producing at least three separate interviews that I watched on SportsCenter, ESPNews, and ESPN's College Football Live. There wasn't a lot of difference from one piece to the next, and I'm guessing poor Andrew will have to sit through about a thousand more of these between now and January 9th, and most of them will ask variations of the same questions: Do you regret your decision to return? Can Stanford be better than it was last season? Can YOU be better? What's your toughest class? Here's the one that aired Wednesday afternoon on SportsCenter. (Coach David Shaw also spent some time on the bus and sat for an interview that aired on College Football Spring Blitz, but that piece hasn't been archived on ESPN.com.)
